Welcome!
Welcome to Vintage Faith Church! Feel free to join us for our church gathering. Below are answers to some frequently asked questions to make your visit with us as comfortable as possible.
What To Expect
Our Sunday morning gathering is designed to lift our eyes and hearts upward to the glory and greatness of God. Everything we do aims at this goal. The Word of God is central to everything that happens on Sunday. You can expect God to be glorified through the form of the service which includes the reading of the Word, the praying of the Word, the preaching of the Word, and the singing of the Word.
When And Where Do We Meet?

Fellowship
We are a family. We enjoy getting the family together to feast on the Word of God every Sunday.
Our Leadership
What We Believe
The Scriptures
The Holy Scripture is the only sufficient, certain, and infallible rule of all saving knowledge, faith, and obedience. The whole counsel of God concerning all things necessary for His own glory, man’s salvation, faith and life, is either expressly set down or necessarily contained in the Holy Scripture; Nothing at any time is to be added, whether by new revelation of the Spirit, or the traditions of men. The original Scriptures as contained in the 39 books of the Old Testament and the 27 books of the New Testament are fully inspired by God, inerrant, authoritative, and sufficient for life and godliness (2 Timothy 3:16, 2 Peter 1:20-21, Matthew 5:18, John 10:35, Psalm 19:7-12)
God
There is but one God, the Maker, Preserver and Ruler of all things, having in and of Himself, all perfections, and being infinite in them all; and to Him all creatures owe the highest love, reverence and obedience. God from eternity, decrees or permits all things that come to pass, and perpetually upholds, directs and governs all creatures and all events; yet so as not in any way to be the author or approver of sin nor to destroy the free will and responsibility of intelligent creatures. (Psalm 139:16, Acts 17:24-26)
The Trinity
God is revealed to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit each with distinct personal attributes, but without division of nature, essence or being. (Genesis 1:24, Deuteronomy 6:4, John 1:1-2, Luke 3:21-22)
Christ
Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, clothed himself in human weakness, lived a sinless life, died the wrath absorbing sacrificial death that was meant for us, and physically rose from the dead because death could not hold Him. He is now in glory and seated at the right hand of the Father (Philippians 2:6-8, Matthew 1:18-25, Romans 10:9-10, Ephesians 2:8-9, John 3:16, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Matthew 28:1-20, Acts 1:9-10, Acts 2:33)
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit indwells those whom have placed their Hope in Christ and His substitutionary death, and resurrection. Those in Christ receive the promised Holy Spirit as a faithful deposit and guide until the resurrection of the dead and the life to come. The Holy Spirit is God and of the same substance, power, as the Father and the Son (Ephesians 1:13, John 16:13, Romans 8:26, )
Men and Women
Men and women are created in God’s image. Both have been created with an intentionally unique and complementarian design. Their uniqueness has implications for the structure of the family and the structure of the church. Men are called to lead within their families and qualified, tested, and affirmed men are called to serve the church as elders. When men and women operate in their God given design, within the family and the church, both the family and the church will flourish. (Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2, Titus 1:5-9)
The Fall of Man
Man rebelled in the garden of Eden and this rebellion brought sin into the world, and a separation between man and a Holy God. Because we are all descendants of one man and one woman we all inherit a sinful nature and we all are born separated from God, and enemies with God. We are sinful by birth and by action. All that is wrong in the world is a result of this rebellion and our separation from God. (Genesis 3:7, Genesis 6:5, Jeremiah 17:9, Romans 3:23, Romans 5:12, Romans 1:18-32, Ephesians 2:3, Colossians 1:21, Psalm 51:5)
Redemption
God promised restoration to His creation through a messiah from the very moment Adam and Eve sinned. God promised the “seed” to come in Genesis 3. The Old Testament develops and unfolds this promise and Christ is the hope of all the Old Testament saints. God’s plan to reconcile and restore mankind to Himself is through His eternal Son, Jesus Christ, who is fully God, and fully man, and the promised “seed” of the woman who will crush the head of satan. (Genesis 3:15 Exodus 12, Isaiah 52-53, Zechariah 12:10, Galatians 4:4-5, Colossians 1:15-20, Colossians 1:21-23, Philippians 2:6-8, John 1:1-4, Hebrews 1:1-3)
Regeneration
Regeneration is a change of heart, brought by the Holy Spirit, who makes alive the dead in trespasses and sins enlightening their minds spiritually and savingly to understand the Word of God, and renewing their whole nature, so that they love and practice holiness. It is a work of God’s free and special grace alone.
Justification
Justification is God’s gracious and full acquittal of sinners, who believe in Christ, from all sin, through the satisfaction that Christ has made; not for anything in them or done by them; but on account of the obedience and satisfaction of Christ, they are receiving and resting on Him and His righteousness by faith.
Sanctification
Those who have been regenerated are also sanctified by God’s word and Spirit dwelling in them. This sanctification is progressive through the supply of Divine strength, which all saints seek to obtain, pressing after a heavenly life in cordial obedience to all Christ’s commands.
The Church
The Lord Jesus is the head of the Church, which is composed of all His true disciples, and in Him is invested supremely all power for its government. Christians are to associate themselves into local churches; and to each of these churches He has given needful authority for administering order, discipline and worship which He has appointed. The church is God’s plan to reveal Himself to a lost world. The local church is the tangible expression of the church universal. God gifts His church through the Holy Spirit with order and reason. The church is a family made up of families and individuals. (Ephesians 3:10, Ephesians 4:4-12, Hebrews 13:17, 1 Timothy 3:14-15, 1 Corinthians 12)
The Lord’s Day
The Lord’s Day is a Christian institution for regular observance, and is the Christian’s Sabbath, rooted in creation, a gift from God to man, and should be observed in exercises of worship and spiritual devotion, both public and private, as much as one is able, resting from worldly employments and amusements.
The Resurrection
There will be a future physical resurrection. Human beings will live eternally with God forever, or eternally apart from God forever. (Daniel 12:2, Matthew 25:46)
Gospel Response
This message demands a response, and when anyone receives this message they are saved, reconciled to God the Father through Jesus by the Holy Spirit (John 1:29, 2 Corinthians 5:21, Galatians 1:4, 1 Peter 3:18, Romans 10:9-10, Colossians 1:22, Ephesians 1:13)
Baptism
Baptism is an ordinance of the Lord Jesus, obligatory upon every believer, wherein he or she is immersed in water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, as a sign of his fellowship with the death and resurrection of Christ, of remission of sins, and of giving of themself up to God, to live and walk in newness of life. It is prerequisite to church membership as it is the covenant sign of identifying with Christ and His people.
The Lord’s Supper
The Lord’s Supper is an ordinance of Jesus Christ, and to be observed by His churches till the end of the world. It is designed to commemorate His death, to confirm the faith and other graces of Christians, and to be a bond, pledge and renewal of their communion with Him, and of their church fellowship.
The Mission
Every Human being will live forever that each soul is eternal and we should regard people as such, taking up our cross, denying ourself, laying down our life for the mission of God. We should lovingly lead people to Jesus and make disciples. This is the epic drama that every believer finds themself in and in it we will find purpose and fulfillment for our lives. (Matthew 28:18-20, Ephesians 6:12)
Last Things
God has appointed a day, where He will judge the world by Jesus Christ, when every one shall receive according to his deeds; the wicked shall go into everlasting punishment; the righteous, into everlasting life. Jesus will return in His glory and will conquer satan, sin, and death. Those whose faith is in Christ and his atoning work will live forever with God enjoying Him eternally in a glorious new creation while those who have rejected him will suffer eternal torment. (1 Thessalonians 4:16, Hebrews 9:28, Revelation 1:7)
Distinctives
Baptist
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer’s death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to walk in newness of life in Christ Jesus. It is a testimony to his faith in the final resurrection of the dead. Being a church ordinance, it is prerequisite to the privileges of church membership and to the Lord’s Supper.

Reformed
For the sake of unity in the church and harmony in method, mission, worship, church leadership, and consistency with the preaching of the Word, the elders of Vintage Faith Church stand in the tradition of the Historic Creeds and the Reformed Confessions of Faith. We affirm the five “Solas” of the Reformation: Salvation is by Grace Alone, through Faith Alone, in Christ Alone, according to Scripture Alone, all to the Glory of God Alone. These convictions shape our practice, worship, and community. See The Abstract of Principles.
