worship Service

Our worship service is every Sunday morning at 9:30am!

Participating in the weekly gathering for the purpose of worship is a powerful ingredient in our walk with Christ. We believe the gathering is a supernatural gift given by God to his children for their growth and spiritual nourishment.

From the Old Testament to the New, God calls his people to assemble together and to give him the glory due his name. It is right and good for us to praise and worship God together, as God is the only one worthy of worship.

Each Sunday we come together as God’s redeemed covenant family to meet with him corporately. We are eager to hear from him through his Word, and to seek his face together. God is glorified as his people worship him through the reading of the Word, the singing of the Word, the preaching of the Word, and the praying of the Word.

Psalm 29:1-2, Eph. 2:11-22, Rev. 1:10, Psalm 100:2, Heb 10:24-25,  1 Cor 14:26, Eph. 5:19

We strive to engage children in age appropriate lessons and small group activities led by a team of dedicated, experienced volunteers. Our goal is to engage, empower, and expand God’s work to younger ages. Children are important to us, and we minister to them on their level. Children’s ministry is open to all children ages 0-5th grade.

Nursery: Infant – 5 years old

Our goal is to maintain a safe environment for your children to play and learn. With the younger kids we emphasize loving and caring for them as a model of how God loves and cares for us. This allows parents the opportunity to worship, learn and grow in their relationship with the Lord, while their younger ones are being cared for. The Little kids are ministered to through song & motion, fun and play, as well as time spent listening to Gods magnificent story – the Bible.

Kindergarten – 5th grade

Our goal is to actively teach each child the work of God through active play, lessons, and group activities. As the children enter school age, we begin to teach them God’s Word through a revised NIV Children’s Bible. With these big kids we really begin to focus on relationships with each other, love for God through prayer and knowing Him & His love for us through His Word. We hope to bring children through to a fuller understanding of the basics of the Christian faith and we pray for them to know and believe in the life and work of Jesus Christ for their salvation.

How you can be involved: each week ask your kids one thing they remember from class from that morning, help them to apply it to their weeks. Using the curriculum website is a great resource for any questions or continuing education that may be done outside of the church on Sunday’s.

Safety

  • Any activities being done are age-appropriate and safe for all ages.

 Men’s Fellowship

When: The 3rd Saturday Morning of Every Month: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM

Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. – 1 Corinthians 16:13

The men at Vintage Faith meet once a month for fellowship, teaching, and breakfast. There is a  short teaching from the bible by one of the men, a discussion afterwards, and a time of prayer.

Men have been given a unique leadership role in the home and in the church. The Apostle Paul exhorts men to “act like men,” In order for men to be watchful, we must know the Word, and we must be able to apply the Word to our own lives and to anyone else God has given to us to love and protect. We are called to serve our wives, children, grandchildren, friends, and co-workers in this way.

Men are called to lead, to protect, and to shepherd their families. Some of those men will be called to shepherd the larger family, the church.

We desire to see men take hold of their biblical role to lead and through this once a month space we fellowship together, learn together, and develop into the men God has called us to be.

Vintage Faith Youth Archery

2023 Season: every Thursday 630 to 830 starting June 22nd running 8 weeks through August 10th

Have you ever want to learn to shoot a bow and arrow? Has your child/children asked about doing something new and outside?

Vintage Faith Youth Archery is a FREE eight-week free activity every Thursday from 6:30-8pm at Vintage Faith Church, hosted by Vintage Faith Church that focuses on the skill development of every participant. No experience or equipment is needed. Must be between ages 5-21 and come with an adult and the adult must stay. One of our goals for the activity is for every child to have a positive experience while learning the skill of archery. Our most important highlight is that we center all of our youth practices on teaching our kids about Jesus in the midst of playing sports.

We are always looking for more volunteers to help facilitate Youth Archery. If you are interested in helping and are a parent, please fill out “Yes, I Want To Help,” on your child’s registration form. For all other inquiries, please contact Edward Swackhamer by email at ed@vintagefaithcicero.com.
